Fresh Farm Goodness Private Limited
Fresh Farm Goodness Pvt Ltd was founded in 2023 with a clear mission: to produce truly safe food, free from harmful chemicals and in harmony with nature.
Motivated by the health problems caused by consuming pesticide-contaminated food, the company took its first steps in Nooranad, India, with a few chickens and naturally grown vegetables. Its founder, who came from outside the agricultural sector, started the project inspired by a desire to offer healthier alternatives to Indian families.
Since then, Fresh Farm Goodness has grown steadily, managing several farms, launching its first Certified Humane-certified poultry unit in Pattoor, and structuring a direct-to-consumer sales channel. It currently has a team of seven dedicated professionals and produces around 350 eggs per day, with plans in place to reach 5,000 eggs per day by December 2025. All of the company’s egg production is Certified Humane.
The pursuit of animal welfare certification began after company representatives attended a session on animal welfare standards during the Poultry Expo in Hyderabad. Since then, Fresh Farm Goodness has been committed to ensuring that its chickens are raised in healthy, stress-free environments, reinforcing the philosophy that happy birds produce higher quality eggs that are safer for consumption.
Adapting to strict animal welfare standards involved challenges such as restructuring facilities to ensure adequate space for perches, nesting areas, and access to the outdoors. It was also necessary to invest in training for staff to internalize every detail of the required practices.
Despite the changes, many of the company’s initiatives were already aligned with Certified Humane’s values, making the transition natural. As a result, the company has seen calmer, healthier birds, more consistent egg production, and a staff that is more attentive to animal care.
Today, Fresh Farm Goodness products are sold primarily in the Kochi region of Kerala through subscriptions and premium supermarkets. The company also seeks to expand its distribution to other regions of southern India. In addition to prioritizing animal welfare, Fresh Farm Goodness adopts sustainable practices such as using local feed, responsible waste management, and eliminating harmful chemicals.
Fresh Farm Goodness is currently in the early stages of the organic certification process, committed to offering clean, fresh, and ethically produced food. The company emphasizes the importance of building trust with consumers by offering quality products that respect animal welfare, the health of Indian families, and the future of the planet.
