Việc theo đuổi chứng nhận Certified Humane® xuất phát từ nhu cầu của người tiêu dùng về các sản phẩm đáp ứng tiêu chuẩn cao về phúc lợi động vật, đồng thời là một phần trong sáng kiến trách nhiệm xã hội của doanh nghiệp và sự minh bạch trong chuỗi cung ứng.
Với khoảng 2.5000 nhân viên, trong đó có 700 người thuộc bộ phận nông nghiệp, công ty là một trong những nhà sản xuất gia cầm hàng đầu trong khu vực. Hàng năm, Emivest sản xuất khoảng 550 triệu con gà con một ngày tuổi và gần 4 triệu con gà mái đẻ một ngày tuổi.
Chứng nhận Certified Humane® đặc biệt bao gồm việc sản xuất gà và Cage Free Eggs, chiếm khoảng 2% trong tổng sản lượng trứng. Công ty có kế hoạch mở rộng chứng nhận này cho tất cả các sản phẩm của mình, nhận thấy tầm quan trọng của sản xuất có trách nhiệm.

Mặc dù vẫn đang ở giai đoạn đầu, chứng nhận Certified Humane® đã có tác động tích cực trong việc nâng cao nhận thức của người lao động về phúc lợi động vật. Về phân phối, các sản phẩm được chứng nhận này hiện đang được bán rộng rãi trong các chuỗi siêu thị trên khắp Việt Nam, cũng như cung cấp cho ngành sản xuất thực phẩm, nhà hàng và các nhà cung cấp dịch vụ ăn uống.
Chiến lược của Emivest Feedmill Việt Nam tập trung vào việc hợp tác với các đối tác quan tâm, gắn kết người tiêu dùng và theo đuổi sự cải thiện liên tục. Under the leadership of Mr. Lau Joo Hong (General Director), the company is committed to promoting animal welfare and sustainability throughout its production chain.
Emivest Feedmill Vietnam recognizes the growing importance of animal ethics and corporate social responsibility in today’s market. The pursuit of Certified Humane® certification arises from consumer demand for products that meet high animal welfare standards, in addition to being part of the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives and transparency in the supply chain.
With approximately 2,5000 employees, 700 of whom are in the agricultural division, the company is one of the leading poultry producers in the region. Annually, it produces around 550 million one-day-old chicks and nearly 4 million one-day-old layer chicks. The Certified Humane® certification specifically covers cage-free chicken and egg production, representing about 2% of the total egg production.
The company plans to expand the certification to all its products, recognizing the importance of responsible production.
Animal Welfare and Sustainability Strategy
Although still in its early stages, the Certified Humane® certification has already had a positive impact on raising worker awareness of animal welfare. As for distribution, the certified products are widely sold in supermarket chains across Vietnam, as well as supplied to the food production industry, restaurants, and food service providers.
