Sam’s Trade
Founded in 2016 with just 300 birds, Sam’s Trade has grown into one of India’s emerging leaders in sustainable and humane egg production.
Today, with a dedicated team of over 127 employees and an annual turnover of ₹26 crore, the company has built a strong reputation for its commitment to organic farming, cage-free production, animal welfare, and operational excellence.
Driven by a vision to create a more ethical and sustainable food ecosystem, the company became interested in the Certified Humane® program after learning about it through its association with Big basket, Zepto, Hilton, Hyatt and Marriott Hotels. The philosophy and standards of the program aligned naturally with Sam’s Trade’s long-term mission of delivering premium-quality products while ensuring better living conditions for animals.
Committed to maintaining the highest welfare standards, the company chose to certify its production systems under the Certified Humane® program, integrating globally recognized animal welfare practices across its operations. The transition was implemented with strong internal support, continuous process improvements, and a focus on employee awareness and training.
Since adopting these enhanced practices, Sam’s Trade has observed a significant positive shift in awareness regarding animal care, sustainability, and responsible farming among both employees and consumers.
Today, with its Certified Humane® certification, Sam’s Trade proudly positions itself at the forefront of ethical and sustainable agriculture in India — committed to maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare, food quality, transparency, and environmental responsibility while contributing to a more conscious future for the agricultural industry.
